Subnautica reaper leviathan aggro range12/15/2023 The harvesting nodes typically found in the area makes this biome a good source for raw crafting materials.Ī portion of the Bulb Zone goes into the Crash Zone, near Aurora's front section. The biome makes up for this, however, with a wide variety of fauna, most of which being predatory - including the dangerous Reaper Leviathans. The Crash Zone possesses a distinct sandy, murky tint of water, and is nearly devoid of Flora, though the western part that borders the Safe Shallows shares some of its flora. Also, flocks of Skyrays populate this area. There is a large amount of dry land on the eastern side of the Aurora which has plenty of debris and Metal Salvage. Only one Ghost Leviathan could be up at any one time, and have it move between the three mentioned chambers every time you leave and re-enter the Lost Riverīoom, he's there, he's square, and one can still explore the place and pay attention to the story stuff. The Crash Zone is located on the easternmost part of the map, surrounded by a Kelp Forest, Safe Shallows, the Bulb Zone, a Mushroom Forest, the Crag Field, and a Grassy Plateaus. If its size really is an issue then shrink it down to maybe 25%-50% larger than the Reaper instead of twice as largeĥ. Have a smaller aggro radius, which works well with #2, it would be a rather sedate beast that drifts through the murk and lunges at prey that gets too close, and have a much smaller leash so it doesn't chase very farĤ. Reducing its movement speed to 75%-50% of the Reaper's movement speed, which makes sense all around seeing it's massive and in a place where speed isn't needed, it would also alleviate its problems navigating the areas like getting stuck on geography and obstaclesģ. All three are large enough to comfortably accomodate a Ghost Leviathan with enough room to slip past on silent running.Ģ. There's only three chambers it would work in: Bones Field, Junction, and Ghost Forest. ![]() Let me count the ways the Ghost Leviathan can work fine in the Lost River.ġ. That said, if they decide to put one in the cove tree, I'll have to start pushing hard for some sort of static base defenses. I spent a few minutes today spawning a bunch in the boneyard and it seems like their current AI has a detection range of about 5 feet, though at this stage that doesn't mean anything really. Living in my favourite seabase would be quite hardcore. Unless they put this guy in the Giant Cove Tree chamber. So, unless the devs decide to give some special anti-submarine behaviuor, instead of some sort of a reaper reskin, the new leviathan shouldn't be that much of a threat. Also, silent running is a good idea while navigating DGR or LR, just for better handling. It seems to work 100% of the time, since all the creatures start ignoring the Cyclops before the shield turns off. What I usually do, is raising the shield just before the attack and switching to silent running. You can always trpair it in the tree cove area. Also, I can afford to get my cyclops damaged. ![]() I'd also point out that if there is more than just one of these things in there, even a shield module and a decoy isn't going to be enough to get you past all of them since the shape of the LR means escaping one will probably dump you face to face with the next and so on. The problem is that the Lost River is so tight that you don't really have anywhere to go and if you try to go somewhere in there in a hurry in the cyclops, you're likely to get stuck on something. The shield module only lasts 16 seconds, which when combined with a decoy and the ability to bug out of the situation works fairly well. Why not use the shield module? It's what I do. I'm all for dangerous environments, but I can't be the only one who thinks this is a bad idea? Add to that the fact that the cyclops will have no effective defense against the thing because it can only ever really run away beyond leashing range and there is not really anywhere to run to down there and I'm predicting tons of cyclops wrecks littering the floor of the cave. By my accounting, we're going to have a creature the size of a reaper, with most likely a similar aggro range, and at least as aggressive, patrolling a space which is so tight that its often hard to turn the cyclops around.

Davinci resolve keyboard shortcuts12/15/2023 ![]() ![]() Even with Resolve’s slightly screwed up layout, you can correct much faster using the keys than you can with a mouse.once you get used to them. I’ve talked about using printer points before, so why am I making such a big deal about some hotkeys? Because the hotkeys speed up the process significantly. In actual use, this makes a big difference. You can see the issue: the –1 cyan key is way off to the right, which screws up the columns of everything being vertically aligned. Sadly, they’re (in my opinion) ‘close but no cigar’ for one reason – they shifted everything down one row, which screws up the CMY subtraction keys. ![]() Here’s how Resolve’s printer light hotkeys are laid out: Recently, Blackmagic’s Resolve software incorporated printer point hotkeys as well, Though you have to enable them here: Very easy to use, and very intuitive so you can correct without looking at the keyboard. Lustre’s hotkeys were great on the number pad, it was set up like this: They worked on a custom variation of Lustre, and used the fantastic built-in printer point hotkeys to match shots and fix white balance. I first learned about using them during an internship I did at EFILM in Hollywood. Some color grading applications still incorporate printer points as a control, and besides being such a basic control, it’s incredibly useful for quickly fixing bad white-balance. Printer lights were measured in points, with a 50 point range and a starting place of 25 points for each channel. Filtered light (red, green, and blue) was shone through the film to change the balance of color in the shot. Printer lights are a hold-over from photochemical color timing processes before the invention of digital color grading. And finally, you can click the three dots to import or export a keyboard preset.Printer Light Hotkeys in DaVinci Resolve can help you quickly white-balance shots. ![]() You can also also start by choosing custom default mappings from other non linear editing systems like Avid Media Composer, Final Cut Pro or Adobe Premiere. The dropdown at the top right of the keyboard palette allows you to select a custom or default preset. This will then be the active preset even if you close and re-open Resolve, or change projects. When you make changes and click save, Resolve will prompt you to name the mappings as a custom preset. The default is of course DaVinci Resolve. When you open the keyboard palette, the top right displays the keyboard preset in use. This will display all of the mappings you’ve changed but haven’t saved yet. If you’re in the process of mapping your keyboard, you can view the current mappings by selecting modified from the dropdown menu in the Commands column area. View the unsaved changes by selecting ‘Modified’ from the dropdown menu. Multiple tasks can be assigned to the same key for different areas of the DaVinci Resolve application such as the Edit Page vs Fairlight, etc. To remove a mapping, click on it under the Active Key column, and then on the right either change or remove the assignment. DaVinci Resolve will then display the current tasks assigned. To see active mappings for any specific key or key combination, simply click the key (or keys) on the keyboard palette which will highlight them in red. This is done by clicking the “x” next to the mapping. You must manually remove the one you don’t need. If you try to assign a mapping to a key that is already in use, you will receive a warning.ĭaVinci Resolve will allow you to save the mapping, but it will not work. If you try to assign a keyboard shortcut or mapping to a key that is already mapped to another task for the same area of the Resolve application, you’ll receiving a warning. Enter a custom name to save your keyboard mappings.Type in the keyboard command you’d like to use.You can remove these by clicking on the “x” by the shortcut, and you can add your own by clicking the plus sign. The keyboard palette will display any current mappings or shortcuts that are setup in Resolve. The keyboard command palette allows you to create shortcuts for menu commands for faster editing. Type “mark” in the right hand search box. Select All Commands in the Commands column. You can also hit Option + Command + K on the keyboard to get to the same spot. Click DaVinci Resolve in the top left and select Keyboard Customization.Let’s first look at mapping three simple commands to specific keys on the keyboard: Mark In, Mark Out, Clear In and Out. And the great news is that DaVinci Resolve has a fully customizable keyboard palette to make editing a dream. If you’re a seasoned filmmaker, you know that when it comes to rapidly manipulating a timeline, the keyboard is king.

They take a big equity stake, so they take an active role in managing their fledglings. They demand a 30 to 50 percent return on their investment.
